Vet School Prep
Hear keynote speakers from all areas of veterinary medicine including research, wildlife, and general practice.
Social
Connect with other pre-vet students through social activities through fundraising events and big/little pairings.
Community Service
Service projects throughout the year include giving back to the Oktibbeha County Humane Society and Starkville Oktibbeha School District.
Vet School Prep
As young professionals, we value the idea of continuous development throughout college. Our keynote speakers provide members with an opportunity to expand their understanding of veterinary medicine.
Social
The social environment of our club is just as important as the educational aspects. We strive to create a community of like-minded students with similar goals to support one another throughout their pre-veterinary journey.
“The social aspect is one of my favorite parts of being an officer. We get the opportunity to hold awesome events for our members, like pup n suds and our annual cornhole tournament, where we get to spend time getting to know our members and sharing the love of animals!”

“The MSU Pre-Vet Club has prepared me for veterinary school by allowing me to develop leadership and community service skills. It has also allowed me to meet like-minded students who share a similar career goal.”

“Volunteering with VETTCO through the Pre-Vet Club and Sudduth Elementry School has been a highlight of my semester. It’s great to see the joy on their faces when we teach them about animal safety and awareness!”
