Thanks for the great turnout at our Welcome Back BBQ and interest meeting last Wednesday. It was great to see so many new faces and so many returning members! At the bottom of this page is the PowerPoint that was presented on Wednesday night.
Please note that there will be no volunteer hours at Oktibbeha County Humane Society or West Point Animal Shelter counted until after the first General Body Meeting, so everyone will be working within the same time frame to get their hours. You will all have plenty of weeks to get your 4-5 hours in, so do not panic!
Also, some of you have been asking about the benefit of being an “active member” over just coming to some meetings – the active members get their names sent to the MSU vet school to show that they completed all of the requirements!
If you have any questions, please reach out to any of the officers and we will get back to you as soon as we can! Have a great second full week of the semester, and we can not wait to see you all again next Wednesday, September 7 for our first General Body Meeting!
